Ms. Sarah Arkin
Deputy Staff Director at the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations
Ms. Sarah Arkin is the Deputy Staff Director for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Democratic staff. Previously, she was a Foreign Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ), Senior Policy Advisor to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz's (D-FL), covering foreign policy.
Prior to her time on Capitol Hill, Ms. Arkin served in the State Department's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs and at the Institute for National Strategic Studies at National Defense University and the Berkeley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs at Georgetown University. She has a B.A. in International Relations and Spanish from Tufts University and an M.A. in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University, and she completed a Boren National Security Education Program Fellowship in Cairo.
