Ms. Sushan Demirjian serves as Acting AUSTR for Small Business, Market Access, and Industrial Competitiveness. AUSTR Demirjian joined USTR in 2007, and she has previously worked on market access negotiations with USMCA, Japan, UK, Kenya, TTIP, TPP, and the Doha Round, and has been involved in a broad range of trade issues regarding industrial goods. Prior to joining USTR, AUSTR Demirjian worked on trade for the American Chemistry Council and at the American Bar Association’s International Law Section. She holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
