Ms. Courtney Smothers is the Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Latin America, and she previously served as Senior Director for MERCOSUR Countries from February 2019 through March 2021. Prior to her current role, DAUSTR Smothers was Associate General Counsel at USTR. She began her career as an Associate at Arnold and Porter and holds degrees from Drew University and the New York University School of Law.
